Carrie Weintraub, DVM

Dr. Carrie Weintraub

Born and raised in Albany, New York, Dr. Weintraub attended Cornell University and received a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences in 2000. She then worked in human nutrition research for a few years before deciding to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Her love of animals and enjoyment of helping people and their pets, is what drew her to veterinary medicine.

Dr. Weintraub attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Following graduation, she worked in private practices in Pennsylvania and North Carolina before moving to New Jersey. Her professional interests include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Weintraub and her husband are proud new parents to Henry, an energetic little boy. Her family also includes, Lucy, a Labrador mix, who they adopted while in North Carolina. In her spare time, Dr. Weintraub enjoys running, hiking and swimming. She is looking forward to getting to know the pets and people at Westfield Veterinary Group and helping to improve her patient's health every day.
