Dr. Emily Denning was born and raised in New Jersey. She was an avid equestrian and surrounded by animals growing up, which fueled her drive to become a veterinarian. She received her bachelor of science degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences from Penn State University and went on to receive her DVM from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, graduating with multiple awards. While earning her veterinary degree, she often volunteered with shelters in Phoenix, performing many surgeries to help reduce overpopulation. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, wound management, and critical care. She is happy to be a part of the amazing Westfield Veterinary Group team. Outside of work, Dr. Denning enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their cat, Nelson. She is an avid spin class goer, tennis player, and eventually hopes to ride horses again.
