Kevin Mu, DVM

Dr. Kevin Mu was born and raised in Queens, New York City. From an early age, he had an interest in learning about animals and enjoyed watching wildlife documentaries on National Geographic or Nature. When he was 10 years old, his family got a Shetland Sheepdog. His first exposure to veterinary medicine was through yearly appointments at the veterinarian.

Dr. Mu decided to pursue veterinary medicine as a career while in high school. He graduated from Macaulay Honors College CUNY in New York City and then went on to earn a DVM from Cornell University in 2018. Before coming to Westfield Veterinary Group, Dr. Mu worked at a 24-hour emergency/general practice hospital in Alexandria, Virginia.

He currently lives with an orange tabby cat and makes frequent trips back to New York, where his parents have a rambunctious Welsh Corgi.
