Carrie Weintraub

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Biography

Born and raised in Albany, New York, Dr. Weintraub attended Cornell University and received a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences in 2000. She then worked in human nutrition research for a few years before deciding to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Her love for animals and enjoyment for helping people and their pets are what drew her to veterinary medicine.

Dr. Weintraub attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her DVM in 2007. Following graduation, she worked in private practices in Pennsylvania and North Carolina before moving to New Jersey. Her professional interests include internal medicine and soft-tissue surgery.

Dr. Weintraub and her husband are proud parents of Henry, an energetic little boy. Her family also includes Lucy, a Labrador mix, who they adopted while in North Carolina. In her spare time, Dr. Weintraub enjoys running, hiking and swimming.
