Dr. Kevin Maus—a native of Westfield, New Jersey—has devoted his time to animal care from an early age. He began working at Westfield Veterinary Group as an animal care technician and veterinary technician throughout high school and college.
Dr. Maus graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in animal science and earned his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his training at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he developed interests in internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, and soft-tissue surgery.
Since his youth, Dr. Maus has watched his father, Dr. Richard Maus, perform various surgical procedures here at Westfield. This sparked a passion in him to continue the family legacy of providing top-notch animal healthcare.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Maus is a long-suffering New York Jets fan who also enjoys playing soccer and relaxing on the beach with his family. He recently welcomed Sadie, a spirited (crazy) mixed breed dog to his home.
