A career in veterinary medicine was a natural choice for our Medical Director, Dr. Scott Witham. He grew up in a rural area surrounded by animals and cared for a large variety of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, snakes, mice, and ferrets. His passion for caring for pets eventually led him to the Westfield Veterinary Group, where he has cared for pets since 2001.
Dr. Witham grew up in Ontario, Canada, and attended the University of Toronto. He received his Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in 1995. Dr. Witham continued his education at Ontario Veterinary College and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He is interested in all areas of veterinary medicine, but cases involving dermatology, surgery, and internal medicine are especially fascinating to him.
Dr. Witham and his wife, Raquel, share their home with their three dogs, a Rottweiler named Crystal and two miniature Pinschers, Paris and Dyce. Outdoor activities are Dr. And Mrs. Witham’s favorite pastime. They can often be found camping, hiking or on the beach in their free time.
