At Westfield Veterinary Group, we take great pride in being the healthcare partner and resource for the K-9 unit at the Union County Sheriff’s Department.
In addition to training the human officers, we also provide complimentary and discounted care for wellness exams and emergency services for the incredibly brave K-9 officers of Union County.

These stunning photos not only honor the sacrifices first responders made on September 11, 2001, but are a reminder of the dedication officers and their K-9 counterparts make each day to keep our communities safe.
Since 2015 WVG and Union County Sheriff have established this important partnership to keep their four-legged officers healthy. Additionally, our education department offers first-aid training throughout the year to the K-9 unit so that the handlers are prepared to help their canines in emergency situations.
This is a small way to show our appreciation and gratitude to the two-legged and four-legged officers who protect and serve every day.
