This month we are featuring Diagnostics. Sometimes we recommend diagnostics as a preventive screening measure. One example is prior to surgery, we want to collect a blood sample and make sure your pet is in good health and find out if there are any underlying issues we should be prepared for prior to anesthesia. Other times we use diagnostics to determine the cause of an illness or condition. When a pet presents to us that is not feeling well, our team wants to be as thorough as possible. We may recommend a variety of diagnostic tests, many of which are available in-house for rapid results:
Laboratory Services

- Urinalysis
- Fecal testing
Imaging
- Digital radiography (x-rays)
- Ultrasound
- Electrocardiography (EKG/ECG)
Our comprehensive diagnostic services are available for cats, dogs and all pet patients at both of our locations, Westfield and Union.
Our Emergency Service is now located at our Union hospital at 1325 Morris Ave. No appointment is necessary for emergencies and we are here and ready to help 24/7/365.
