Physical Therapy Services
Physical therapy for cats and dogs is similar to human physical therapy. Our services include:
- Range of motion and stretching exercises – These exercises help to strengthen the muscles being targeted, improve flexibility, and minimize scar tissue formation after an injury or surgery.
- Thermotherapy – The use of heat (thermotherapy) and cold (cryotherapy) helps to reduce muscle inflammation, control spasms, increase circulation, and relieve pain.
- Electrical stimulation – Using advanced, completely safe equipment, we generate a low-level electrical current that helps increase muscle strength and tone, reduce pain, and ease muscle spasms
- Weight management – Overweight pets are at risk for a wide range of health problems. With our weight management program designed for your pet, we’ll help them lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way.
