Before joining the management team at Westfield Veterinary Group, Nicky was a Veterinary Technician for 17 years. After a successful career in small animal nursing, she became very interested in leadership and personal development. In 2016, Nicky graduated from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) where she received two separate certifications in life and leadership development. Since then, she has been supporting Veterinary Technicians experiencing burnout and compassionate fatigue to achieve wellness and training teams on emotional intelligence and conscious leadership. Nicky believes that everyone is a leader to one extent or another and is very passionate about creating and sustaining positive workplace cultures within Westfield Veterinary Group and beyond.
Nicky has a cat named Brianna and a Budgerigar (fancy name for parakeet) named Bangle. She practices and teaches Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, loves (and collects) crystals, and her favorite place in the world is Watkins Glen State Park in upstate, NY. Her vision is that every veterinary professional feel valued, appreciated and purposeful in their work while being the change they wish to see in the world and our industry as a whole.
