Dr. Veronica Jones grew up in South Jersey and has always been interested in veterinary medicine. She knew becoming a veterinarian was her calling as a young child watching veterinary shows on TV. She attended Cook College at Rutgers University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2009. Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary assistant and technician for 3 years.
Dr. Jones received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After graduation, she began practicing in South Jersey at Columbus Central Veterinary Hospital where she developed an interest in emergency/critical care medicine and surgery. She joined the Westfield Veterinary Group team as an Emergency Veterinarian in early 2018.
She has recently moved to the area with her sweet pups, Duchess and Bella, her two miniature poodles. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling to new cities, exploring different types of food, and taking on new adventures.
