Team Highlight: Celebrating Our Veterinary Technicians

Here at WVG, we love and appreciate all of our veterinary technicians because of the crucial role they play at our practice. Each and every one of our vet techs provide the highest level of care when preserving the health and welfare of our pet patients.

While we celebrate our veterinary technicians every day of the year and thank them for all they do, we were able to recognize their contributions during National Veterinary Technician Week – October 13-19^th.

What do Certified Veterinary Technicians do Behind the Scenes?

Certified veterinary technicians are educated, trained, and tested on their skills in order to support our veterinarians in surgical assisting, laboratory procedures, radiography, anesthesiology, client education, and so much more. To maintain certification, they must continue to take continuing education classes throughout their career. This is a big commitment – but all of our veterinary technicians strive to provide the highest standard of patient care.

How Can You Celebrate Your Favorite Veterinary Technician?
